Abstract :
[en] The role of the entropy in the design of CFD algorithms is discussed, from the physical observations which inspire the discretization, as the introduction of the formal definition of a mathematical entropy and how it is used to define stable algorithms. The impact on scale-resolving simulations of supersonic homogeneous isotropic turbulence is shown.
