Abstract :
[en] This chapter addresses dissemination of the Lighting Master Plan concept in Wallonia, Belgium. Influence of French and international references is discussed, as well as actors, conditions and challenges which are specific to Wallonia, which impacted as leverages or brakes to the widespread diffusion of the tool. The case study of Liège, which opted for a strategic approach of public lighting in 2003, is analysed in further details and illustrates similarities and differences between French and Walloon understanding and uses of "Lighting Master Plans".
