Abstract :
[en] Highlights Pure-phase Li 2 NiP 2 O 7 compound has been synthesized by solid-state reaction. The monoclinic-type structure with a single phase was validated by Rietveld refinement of the XRD data. The electrical properties were investigated by impedance spectroscopy technique. The frequency-dependent electrical data are analyzed in the frame-work of conductivity and electric modulus formalisms. The ion hopping mechanism controlled by the movement of Li+ cations within the Li 2 NiP 2 O 7 structure is responsible for the conduction mechanism.
