Aproximación desde la victimología verde al caso de los ecosistemas colombianos como nuevos sujetos de derechos: Río Atrato y Vía Parque Isla de Salamanca

his article approaches the jurisprudential declaration of ecosystems as new sub jects of rights in Colombia and explores the contribution of green victimology in their recog nition as victims of crimes against the environment. From a qualitative investigation, based
on the review and synthesis of legal information, the cases of the Atrato River and the Vía
Parque Isla de Salamanca are examined. Key points such as the practical difficulties for the
legal representation of non-humans opens the need for a redirection of traditional criminal
law beyond Western naturalism towards ecocentric postulates
