Abstract :
[en] One of the challenges facing our "shared future" undoubtedly concerns biodiversity and our relationship with the environment. Around the world, the so-called "Human-Wildlife Conflicts" are multiplying and intensifying, with numerous examples raising political, social, economic, environmental, technological and sometimes even religious questions. These so-called 'conflicts' reveal growing tensions between human groups, and are particularly prevalent in South Asia.
Through this work and thanks to the words of the people concerned, I propose to present the situation of Bardiya National Park, focusing on the paradoxes, inequalities and tensions in which the population finds itself at several levels and which immobilise it. This reflection will echo many other situations around the world and seems more than necessary if we are to move towards a fairer coexistence between humans and animals in the future.
