Abstract :
[en] This paper describes the methodology and the first results of a method of measurement of the cerebral metabolic rate of glucose, using 11C-Glucose and regional detection by probes. The present method has the advantages of being rapidly repeatable and of yielding a determination of the rates of transfer of glucose across the blood-brain barrier
