Abstract :
[en] We here report the case of a stenosis of the CoreValve® system due to reduced mobility of prosthesis cusps for which a surgical replacement of the aortic valve was proposed. The exact mechanism leading to this impaired mobility of the leaflets is yet to be determined. We also underline the fact a transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) device can be replaced by a surgical replacement without excessive operative risks despite the patient being initially considered as high-risk.
