Abstract :
[en] Pilocarpine modifies neither the flow of the aqueous humour, nor the episcleral venous pressure, but it diminishes the resistance to the aqueous flow in the glaucomatous eye. This fact seems to result from either the stretching of the corneoscleral trabeculum by the contraction of the ciliary muscle, or the vasodilatation of the intrascleral venous network. © 1952 S.
