Abstract :
[en] 1. The authors use a test described in former works on the compression of the bulbus in chronic glaucoma. 2. They find an increase of resistance to the flow of acqueous humour and a comparison between the decree of increase and the flow. They deduct that the increase of resistance and the intraocular hypertension are causally bound together; or that they alter in parallel independently from a mutual cause. 3. The place and nature of these alterations which cause the increase of the resistance in the flow are discussed. The hypothesis of an anomaly in the intrascleral vascular system is also discussed. © 1952 S. Karger AG, Basel.
