Arqueologia e público: pesquisas e processos de musealização da arqueologia na imprensa brasileira

This article develops a reflection on Museums, Archaeology and Press. Its objective is to discuss how Archaeology is presented to the general public by the press and what role it plays in the musealization of Archaeology in the relationship between Archaeology and the audience. The text compares the articles published in the written media in 2000 and 2006 and tries to understand which images of archaeologists, archaeology and archaeology museums are built by these media.
