[en] The Roman villa (uilla) of Proville is situated on the banks of the Scheldt and occupies an environment that was already settled in the Neolithic and early Iron Age periods. Aerial surveys and various campaigns of fieldwalking have helped characterize the site. It is a medium-sized villa and includes rooms decorated with mosaics and stone veneers. It was occupied from the beginning of the 1st century AD through to the 4th century.
