Abstract :
[en] The results of this qualitative research was successful to identify main effort management strategies during short trail running. Influence of perceptions, feelings, cognitive processing and actions, particularly influenced by the chronology of the race. We obtain an interaction between the physical and psychological processes influencing effort management and performance. There is a need for further research and development of this topic. The data from this study could help the runner to optimize his race preparation and to better manage his effort, especially in delicate moments.
