Abstract :
[en] Referring to the Karlstadt building, as the object of the Hackathon Urban design workshop 2020, what would it mean “doing with nature”? How ecological strategies can contribute to a new identity and a new cycle of life of the Berlin dinosaur? Some examples suggest lines of reflection within this approach, where different values of nature are integrated in urban design projects. In particularly: Tiers paysage (Clément, 2005) , is proposed as manifesto for spontaneous re-appropriation of the places; Bosco verticale (@Stefano Boeri architetti, 2009 - ), as integration of forest functions in urban housing design; vertical gardens (Patrick Blanc)as new living frescos in urban context; urban agriculture experiences , blurring the boundaries between rural and urban dimensions.
