Abstract :
[en] SHACL provides us a powerful way of declaring validation rules for datasets. The built-in functions are quite limited, but we can use SPARQL to create custom constraint components. The problem is one could end up reinventing the wheel for constraints that hold in many contexts, such as topological relationships. We present GeoSHACL, a set of GeoSPARQL-based SHACL constraint components published as Linked Data. We thus provide constraint components that can be shared and reused. By starting with the topological relations of simple features, our goal is to provide a reusable set of such constraints. This article elaborates on some of the technical design decisions and provides a brief demonstration.
