Abstract :
[en] This chapter describes School-wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (SWPBIS) implementation in French-speaking Belgium. First, the characteristics of the educational system related to the SWPBIS implementation goals and process are presented. Then, the schools’ selection and the two ways of implementation are explained. Next, we present the results of the quasi-experimental evaluation of the project's effects on school climate, attendance, and teachers’ collective efficacy. We close by discussing barriers faced during the implementation process and possibilities for scaling up.
