Abstract :
[en] The prognostic significance of radiotherapy result as early as 1 month follow-up was investigated among 142 advanced head and neck cancer patients. Multivariate analysis according to Cox model pointed out early complete regression and Karnofsky index as the 2 sole significant parameters of survival. Immediate response to irradiation could help to better select appropriate treatment forms.
