Abstract :
[en] The optimal dose-intensity of a neoadjuvant chemotherapy for head and neck cancers was searched by preventive administration of GCSF. A polychemotherapy given on days 1,3,5, and 22,24,26 was associated to GCSF on days 15 to 19. Parameters as chemotherapy protraction in % of cases and in days, whole duration of treatment and profiles of dose-intensity were all significantly in favour of the preventive administration.
