Abstract :
[en] 184 consecutive head and neck cancer patients received a polychemotherapy at low dosage prior to radical treatment with minimal side-effects. Results of subsequent exclusive radiotherapy showed strictly dependant on chemotherapy response : complete control 82% in C+ versus 39% in C- . A benefit in survival of 10 to 15 % exists at 3 years as compared to our own controls. Predictive neoadjuvant might be of value for treatment individualization. individualization.chemotherapy might
