Abstract :
[en] On the basis of the analysis of an inclusive museal action, the present work aims to fix limits and put in doubt some essential museological concepts for the structuring of these practices and of Museology itself, considered as a field of knowledge. The relative increase of reports on the so-called inclusive actions by the museums professionals, does not fit with the existence of a solid theorization, capable to ensure the museal practices, seeking for a social transformation perspective. Therefore, as part of this attempted strategy of analysis, we suggest the use of the concept “citizen museology”, which stems from the academic investigations carried out by Anik Meunier and Virginie Soulier (UQAM/Quebec) at the museological area, aiming at a better understanding of the new panorama of inclusive actions and their possibilities for transformation. The source of the analyzed inclusive museal actions is the “Training Course for Educators” at the Historical Museum of São Carlos (SP/Brazil). The participants were invited to identify and choose the heritage of their neighbourhood to be preserved and musealized. The result was a travelling exhibition and the project “San Carlos belongs to all of us”, involving all the Municipal Network of Fundamental Teaching in the city. When analyzing these actions, several questionings on the possibilities and limits of museal inclusion arise. When facing other museum actions, how do they qualify? Is it possible to fix limits between the so-called inclusive actions and, for example, the educational actions of a museum? Other questionings, such as those dealing with the non-publics, conceptual binomial of immediate inclusion within the museums, are also relevant in this search for a theorizing process. When analyzing the mentioned cases, ¿can we identify an inclusive action of new publics in our museums? Or are the economically marginalised the only persons considered non-publics? These are some of the topics which will be developed within this work.
