Abstract :
[fr] Comment aménager et gérer de manière durable les territoires ? Comment faciliter à tous les citoyens l’accès aux fonctions dont ils ont besoin ? Ces questions sont sans conteste essentielles pour les responsables publics mais aussi pour les citoyens. Elles sont également au cœur des nouveaux programmes de géographie de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, de la troisième année à la sixième, l’objectif majeur étant de préparer les élèves à prendre place dans le monde de demain qui sera sans doute confronté aux grands enjeux et défis d’un développement durable : une indispensable justice spatiale, la prise en compte de toutes les contraintes environnementale (dont notamment les changements climatiques, la préservation des écosystèmes et de la biodiversité, la gestion parcimonieuse des ressources et la réduction des nuisances et des pollutions) et la réussite des nécessaires transitions.
Ce GEO 85 a été conçu dans cet esprit. Fruit d'un long travail collaboratif et de réflexion, qui a parfois réuni plus de 15 géographes et s'est étalé sur 8 mois, l'ouvrage cherche à aider les enseignants en réunissant, dans un texte court et 34 fiches, les savoirs et savoir-faire essentiels et en proposant des activités d'apprentissage conçues par plus de 10 enseignants différents et souvent déjà testées en classe. These questions are undoubtedly essential for public officials but also for citizens. They are also at the heart of the new geography programs of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, from the third year to the sixth year, the main objective being to prepare the pupils to take their place in the world of tomorrow which will undoubtedly be confronted with the major challenges. and challenges of sustainable development: essential spatial justice, taking into account all environmental constraints (including climate change, preservation of ecosystems and biodiversity, sparse management of resources and reduction of nuisances and pollution) and the success of the necessary transitions.
This GEO 85 has been designed with this in mind. The result of long collaborative work and reflection, which sometimes brought together more than 15 geographers and spread over 8 months, the book seeks to help teachers by bringing together, in a short text and 34 files, the knowledge and essential skills and by offering learning activities designed by more than 10 different teachers and often already tested in class.
