[en] In September 1930, the Comité d’Entente franco-belge organised an important congress in Liège. Its aim was to study all outstanding bilateral issues and to promote harmonisation in the fields of trade, literature, education, law and colonial management. The present contribution intends to retrace the history and objectives of this lobby through the proceedings of its congress and the analysis of its press organ, the Revue Franco-Belge. In spite of the very slim results obtained, the Comité d'Entente nevertheless deserves to be brought out of oblivion and to have its action re-evaluated.
