During the lessons, students will examine: 1) different theoretical approaches and concepts of political science (power, legitimacy, participation,...); 2) political ideologies (liberalism, socialism, communism,...); 3) the state (roles, functions, organisations and transformations); 4) elections, forms of representation and electoral behaviour; 5) political parties, movements and lobbies ....
This course aims to give students tools to understand the political environment and its various social issues. The challenge is also to encourage time and space for discussion around general questions on: 1) political and social challenges; 2) changes and transformations of political institutions; 3) issues of participation and voting; 4) interactions between citizens and their representatives...
