[en] Under the direction of Prof. A. Hautot, the General Physics Laboratory of the University of Liège was a renowned international R&D center on silver halide photosensitive materials. The team worked for over 20 years with AGFA Gevaert nv under IRSIA research contracts. They were pioneer in the field of research on holographic emulsions since the invention of this technique in the early 1960s.
