Abstract :
[en] Paroxystic alcohol intoxications are classically defined by the alternation of acute and massive intoxications and abstinence periods but occur mostly in chronically drinking patients. Loss of control, sensation seeking and impulsivity are common features of these disorders that are often associated with multiple drug use. They also seem to be characterized by underlying biological and genetic risk factors and antisocial personality disorder.
