Abstract :
[en] Management of patients with movement disorders due to kernicterus mainly focuses on physical therapies. For the specific treatment of dystonia, trihexyphenidyl is usually not beneficial, but benzodiazepines may be used. Botulinum toxin has been proposed by some authors to relieve muscle tone. We report the case of a young boy, treated by botulinum toxin with success for upper limb dystonia.
