ring-opening polymerization (ROP); lactone
Abstract :
[en] Two main strategies aiming at synthesizing aliphatic polyesters bearing pendant functional groups will be reported. The first one is based on the synthesis and the polymerization of lactones substituted by various functional groups. The direct grafting of functional groups onto aliphatic polyesters is the second strategy. Last but not least, the association of these two strategies is very promising in order to overcome their respective limitations.
