Museums related to clothing and fashion in Brazil are discussed here as a specific case, but not unique of absences in heritage preserved in Brazil, or even gaps in the information available to company regarding this heritage. We try to show some contemporary discussions on museums and heritage in Brazil and the challenges for this complex universe be included in information systems such as the National Museums Register (CNM).
