Abstract :
[en] The EPB assessment is one of the most important official systems adopted for building energy performance in Flanders, but at the same time focuses on primary energy (non-renewable) to cover the building's energy consumption. With the development of renewable energy generation systems, We must take into account the development of a new mechanism to assess the performance of buildings that derive their energy from renewable sources of energy, thus evaluate the building on this basis by creating an additional feature in EPB allowing this by development of factors that contribute to the development of the assessment method. This report talks about the possibility of EPB calculation methods, the use of the PER factor in the PHPP calculation, and the possibility of developing a new EPB factor that enables us to evaluate the performance of the building based on renewable energy sources.
