Abstract :
[en] Two cases of haemorrhagic syndrome associated to the infection by non-cytopathogenic strains of Bovine viral diarrhoea virus ( BVDMD ) have been identified in France. The clinical signs are the same in both calves : hyperthermia, haemorrhagic lesions. Further tests are earned out (haematology, histology and virology ). As the prognosis is poor both calves are put to sleep. The BVD virus, of non cyto-pathogenic biotype has been isolated from the blood and organs of affected animals.
