[en] An hemorragic syndrome was reported in the U.S.A. and Canada in cattle infected by non cytopathic strains of the Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV/MD). It was also recently reported in several herds located in the south of Belgium. Here we describe two cases of a similar syndrome identified in France; the BVD virus was isolated from blood and organs and its biotype was also non-cytopathic.
