Abstract :
[en] Hereditary diffuse gastric cancer is a form of gastric cancer associated, in about 40 % of cases, with a germline mutation of the CDH1 gene. The management of patients with a pathogenic mutation of this gene is based on total prophylactic gastrectomy because, until proven otherwise, endoscopic monitoring is insufficient. We report a series of eight patients with pathogenic CDH1 mutation who underwent total prophylactic gastrectomy in our centre. © 2019 Revue Medicale de Liege. All Rights Reserved.
