Abstract :
[en] The preparation of primary nucleotide sugars like dTDP-glucose with sucrose synthase, a glycosyl transferase in plants, provides an alternative in enzymatic synthesis to the use of highly specific pyrophosphorylases. In an enzyme membrane reactor a continuous synthesis can be performed on preparative scale.
