Abstract :
[en] The goal of this lecture is to showcase (visual) methods for identifying universal structures in emotion semantics and for unveiling language/culture specific patterns of expression in this semantic field. We further demonstrate that - using semantic maps and formal concept lattices as heuristic tools - a large-scale typological approach may lead to new insights for Egyptian philology.
