Abstract :
[en] Among the epigraphic sources relating to šakkanakkus of Mari, cylinder seal impressions mention some of them, especially šakkanakkus that reigned during the 20th and first part of 19th centuries (final phase of the šakkanakku period before the Yaḫdun-Lîm’s reign on Mari ca 1820/1810 BC). A new reading of the seal impressions ME64 + ME196 and ME14 proposes that these three seal impressions are from the same cylinder seal belonging to a šakkanakku of Mari named Tīnīn-Dagan whose father was Iddin-Dagan, both previously unknown.cylinder-seal mentions a particular relationship between the owner of the seal-cylinder and his ruler.
