Abstract :
[en] The aim of this short paper is threefold. It first briefly presents the in-progress edition of letters on ostraca coming from Deir el-Medina (§1). It then considers their nature and their function: real letters, exercises, drafts, model or literary letters (§2–§3). Finally, a loose sample of chosen pieces of information about the DeM community gleaned through these letters is given (§4)
