[en] For centuries, work and detention have been inextricably linked. Given the current reforms in the Belgian penitentiary sector, it seems an appropriate time to explore the opportunities which could be created as regards to the work and training of prisoners in the wake of the modernisation of prison management techniques and the development of partnerships between the administration and the private sector.
