Abstract :
[en] The proposal to enlarge the General Court was the first legislative initiative taken by the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) in the framework of the Lisbon Treaty and the first occasion on which the European Parliament participated in such a procedure. It has wrought a massive change in the entire judicial system of the EU. It is extremely important to draw the correct institutional lessons for the future.
