Abstract :
[en] The BAGIDIS semimetric is a highly adaptivewavelet-based semimetric. It is particularly suited for dealing with curves presenting horizontally- and verticallyvarying sharp local patterns. One can advantageously make use of this semimetric in the framework of nonparametric functional data analysis.
