Semirelativistic quark model; New radial wave function for the Roper resonance
Abstract :
[en] Within a semi-relativistic constituent quark model based on linear confinement, we propose a new radial form for the main component of the Roper resonance. This lowers its position by about 100 MeV compared to the previous studies, where the radial excitation was of harmonic oscillator type, and brings it much closer to the experiment.
