[en] This article offers a reading of 'N30', the postumously published work of the young Dutch poet and literary scolar Jeroen Mettes (1978-2006). A 220 page New Sentences epic, it laments the impossibility of revolutionary pathos at the turn of the 21st century, but nevertheless searches for the new in a so called post-political society.
