[en] This session, at the Brussels School of Cognitive Technologies and Law, aims at giving meaning to the conceptual and practical impact of cognitive technologies and artificial intelligence (A.I.). The point is not to provide answers but questions. This first session is a general session on Law and artificial intelligence with two representatives from the private and public sector. Bjoern Juretzki is a policy official in the EU working especially on A.I. in the development of policies at the European commission level. Jonathan Sage is a representative of the private sector who works for the Government and Regulatory Affairs at IBM. Nicolas Petit, Professor of Law at ULiège and a Research Professor at the School of Law of the University of South Australia, gave some context on the technologies and their legal implication.
