[en] This paper presents the experimental and numerical tests made on the Titanium based alloy Ti6A14V to identify its yield locus and the hardening behaviour. A bi-axial experimental equipment has been used to perform cyclic shear tests, simple shear tests and successive simple shear tests and plane-strain tests. Coupled with classical tensile tests, these tests enable to identify the yield locus and the hardening model. Teodosiu and Hu’s hardening law and isotropic Swift type hardening and kinematic Armstrong Frederick hardening models have been investigated.
