Abstract :
[en] The ethical issues accrued from the study and management of patients with disorders of consciousness are variant and multifaceted. The medical, public and legal controversies are partly shaped by how different people think about pain perception and end of life. Uniform ethical frameworks need to be shaped in order to guide clinicians and caregivers in terms of clinical outcome, prognosis and medical management.
