Abstract :
[en] This thesis researches the formation of European identity in the context of Free movement of Persons in the EU, using the concepts of social context and political identity. It is based on a qualitative study, studying the attitudes and perceptions of Bulgarian citizens exercising their free movement rights and it also draws conclusions regarding the legitimacy of the EU and its security problems.
