[en] Through the case study of the artistic copying network around the tomb of Pahery in Elkab (EK 3), the paper aims at illustrating the circulation of knowledge via iconographic patterns in Ancient Egypt. As will be underlined, this phenomenon is closely linked with the creativity process. After describing the different tombs related to EK 3, we will attempt to reach two artists’ individualities behind the iconographic programs of those funerary chapels. Finally, in order to create “analogy-bridges” which may provide food for thought for Egyptology, the productive copy process and the creativity notion will be briefly compared with the Western Renaissance context.
