Abstract :
[en] This paper is devoted to the analysis of shells of revolution, using cylindrical components of the displacement. This procedure, coupled with a Fourier expansion by respect of the azimuth, permits the generation of finite elements in which rigid body displacements are represented exactly, even in the case of doubly curved shells.
