Abstract :
[en] Organ transplantation has grown over the past decades thanks to major improvements in surgical techniques and immunosuppressive treatment. Nuclear medicine is used for non-invasively improving the selection of candidates to give or receive a transplant, for monitoring graft recipients and for diagnosing and managing early and late complications. This review describes the clinical role of nuclear medicine in transplantation and discusses some of the
possible perspectives.
