Abstract :
[en] During a cruise in the Arabian Seaand its dependencies, the O.V. Commandant Robert Giraud collected one species of Pyrosoma, ten species of Salp and seven species and subspecies of Doliolids. Both their latitudinal and bathymetric distributions were examined. For the first time, three species of Salps and five species of Doliolids were identified in the plankton collected in the Hormuz Strait and in the Arabian Gulf. [fr] Au cours d’une croisière en mer d’Arabie et ses dépendances, le N.O. Commandant Robert Giraud a récolté une espèce de Pyrosome, dix espèces de Salpes et sept espèces et sous-espèces de Doliolides. Leurs répartitions horizontale et bathymétrique ont été examinées. Pour la première fois, trois espèces de Salpes et cinq espèces de Dolioles ont été identifiées dans le plancton du détroit d’Ormuz et du golfe Persique. [nl] Tijdens een cruise in de Arabische zee en omstreken heeft het O.S. Commandant Robert Giraud een soort Pyrosome, tien soorten Salpen en zeven soorten en ondersoorten Dolioliden verzameld. Hun horizontale en bathymetrische verspreiding werd onderzocht. Voor de eerste keer werden drie soorten Salpen en vijf soorten Dolioles in het plankton van de Straat van Ormoes en van de Perzische Golf geïdentificeerd.
