[en] This lecture provided students with a general overview of the migration trends from Latin America to Europe in the last decade, highlighting the two main characteristics that have accompanied such flows meaning: the feminization of migratory paths and the creation of transnational families. It addressed the following questions: How and through which practices have Latin American female migrant domestic workers manage to do transnational families? What has been the impact of such ways of doing family for sending and receiving societies?
