[en] This communication aims at drawing the general context underlying the Belgian health care sector and to address the key issues of the computerization of the patient health records. Two case studies are presented: the introduction of a nursing health record within a hospital and the computerization of the general practitioner's record. Finally, the discussion focuses on the medical knowledge in general, using the embodied, inscribed, enacted phenomenology developed by Richard Freeman and Steven Sturdy.
